Hello friendly readers (or reader, I've just spoken recently with my friend Lisa that I actually have no idea how many of you actually read this. Apparently I'm in "Mr. Rogers" mode today with my greetings.
I realize I promised pictures, but today will not be the day for those as I STILL CANNOT FIND MY CAMERA. Including the pictures I took on vacation of me less than 20 feet away from a Big horn sheep. And if you know anything about Big horns, you know that I'm either insane or lucky. And I'm going to go with lucky...because I'm optimistic like that :D
Soo thanks to my attempt at a funny title, I actually stopped myself from buying adorable $12 soaps. *phew* Yes, that's right. Blogging saved my budget. Not only were they adorable $12 soaps, but they were adorable $12 CHRISTMAS soaps meaning I could only really use them 1-2 months out of the year...which really shouldn't justify my purchase of anything (but then I think about my collection of Christmas in the basement and - well it certainly has in the past).
Anywho - I am indeed putting myself on a budget. Not that I'm a big spender (My mother calls the thrifty queen) but I would just love to develop a habit of being aware of where my money goes and why. OK, well maybe not why - that's very existential and not really anything numbers need to take
Right now I realize that the biggest culprit is (no surprise) FOOD. Now I mean that in the healthiest way possible. I cook A TON and I am one of the healthiest people you'll find. But it's sad that I literally EAT UP my paycheck. And cutting back on food would really not be fun. At all.
So what is my solution? Besides a budget? Why get my Etsy shop running of course. Make some dough! But this would of course include me getting off my hind end and knitting up some stuff to sell...so here I go! Time to get started
(And please, cross your fingers with me that the camera gets found soon. Those pictures were too good ...)
